A prized specimen among collectors,Eulychnia castanea f. varispiralis is an unusual, slow-growing plant with a spiralling helter-skelter form.

WATERING

Water when soil is dry 100%. Water very lightly (if at all) during winter months.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Full sun.

FEED

Use a cactus fertiliser 3 times between March – November.

REPOTTING

Repot every 2-3 years. Use a well-draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.

POT SIZE / HEIGHT

8.5CM / 18CM. Please note that, due to their natural variability, specimens’ height may be within 10-20% of the stated height below.
