Eryngium planum ‘Blaukappe’

Blaukappe (or Blue Cap) is a nice variety of Sea Holly, long lasting prickly flower heads of blue globe shaped flowers are produced in Summer. A plant that thrives in an open Sunny garden with well drained soil.

Needs a well drained soil and prefers full sun

Hardy, growing to 1m with a spread of 50cm

Great as part of a mixed border and works well in shade as well as sun.
