Eryngium Big Blue is a beautiful and unique perennial that bears steel-blue flowers that resemble thistles. The flowers are held on stiff, upright stems that rise above the spiny, gray-green foliage. The plant is 24-36 inches tall and 18-24 inches wide.

Planting: When planting in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality tree and shrub compost.If planting in a container we recommend a good quality multi purpose compost with added John Innes to be used. These plants should be fed in spring and late summer with a good quality fertiliser.
