The botanical name of this succulent is *Echeveria colorata*. *Echeveria lindsayana* is also frequently used as a synonym. In German, it is known as Echeverie. The succulent belongs to the genus *Crassula*, which is part of the Crassulaceae family.

This succulent is native to Mexico. Echeveria colorata is green, mint, and pink with a rosette-shaped growth habit. The flower is pink to orange and bell-shaped. It blooms between April and June. You will receive a plant in an 8.5cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of approximately 10cm. The plant can reach a height of 20cm.
Caring for Echeveria colorata is relatively simple. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Echeveria colorata does not tolerate waterlogging, so you should ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates less water rather than too much. Fertilizing can be done once a month, or every four weeks.
This succulent’s light requirement is met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20C and 30C. Echeveria colorata can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 10C. Furthermore, fertilizing stops and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
This succulent can be propagated by seeds, but also by leaf and stem cuttings. Echeveria colorata is generally non-toxic, but we cannot guarantee its compatibility with animals.

Please note: Sizes, shapes and ages may vary for plants, as each one is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The color also varies depending on the season.
