Dryopteris wallichiana, also known as Alpine Wood Fern, is a unique semi-evergreen fern that thrives in moist shade. It can tolerate any type of moist soil and is also happy in semi-shade or full shade. With a spread of up to 1m, this fern is easily maintained and adds a pop of color to any garden with its orange spring foliage that fades to a dark green. It is a hardy fern, fully established at H5 (-10) hardiness level, making it a great addition to any mixed border. Choose from a 9cm pot or 2 Litre pot when ordering.
