Dianthus ‘Fire Star’ has fragrant, cherry red carnation-like flowers with a darker eye over gray-green foliage. Dianthus ‘Fire Star’ is a heavy bloomer in early spring with random blooms all summer and fall. One of our favorite perennial Pinks, it is great for cutting and great in containers or the border.

Dianthus ‘Fire Star’ requires good drainage, especially in winter. Tolerant of drought and coastal conditions. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer resistant.
