This is an upright, bushy, deciduous shrub with bright green leaves long and fragrant, star-shaped, white flowers produced in small, erect sprays from spring to early summer. Best grown in sun or partial shade in a moist yet well drained position.

• When planting this shrub in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If suitable for containers then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
