Desert Rose Merlot has double flowers that are a rich, deep purple with red or pink highlights in the inner petals. It resembles the color of a fine wine. Merlot blooms prolifically during the warm spring, summer and fall seasons. Grow in a well-draining potting mix and fertilize only during periods of active growth. Be careful not to overwater. This is a one-year-old grafted plant with a thickened caudex.

Please note: This adenium is a grafted plant that blooms sooner and is true to variety name. Adeniums may arrive dormant or semi-dormant from October-March, with little or no foliage; but dont worry- each spring they will put out new leaves!
