A dwarf variety of Delphinium, ‘Blue Mirror’ offers a bushy, attractive mound of deeply cut foliage that usually does not require staking. Rich, violet-blue flowers bloom to attract hummingbirds and butterflies in summer.

While Delphinium is a sun-loving plant in Northern parts of the country, it will appreciate shade from the afternoon sun in warmer climates. Here in Zone 7a in Virginia, it MUST have afternoon shade to withstand late spring and summer.

Grow Delphinium ‘Blue Mirror’ in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil for the best performance. It will tolerate clay soils.
