Dahlia Thomas Edison is a dinner plate dahlia that is known for its large, deep purple flowers. The flowers are fully double and can reach up to 8 inches in diameter. They bloom from midsummer until frost.

Planting : When planting in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If planting in a container then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost with added John Innes. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
