Cynara cardunculus Green Globe

Introducing the Cynara cardunculus Green Globe, also known as Cardoon vert globe. This herbaceous perennial is truly magnificent and deserves a place in any garden. But the real showstopper is the large, globular purple thistle heads that tower above the foliage on stiff and stout grey stems. As the flower heads unravel, they reveal fine, pale purple tubular petals that come together to create a globe of purple.
