Azarole Rosaceae

A large fruited hawthorn from the Mediterranean & Central Asia. Produces masses of sweet golden fruit in late summer/autumn. Very hardy. I came across this being sold by the roadside in Tajikistan. Forms a beautiful small tree producing masses of white blossom in spring. Very hardy. S. Europe to W. Asia 1 litre
