The botanical name of this succulent is *Cotyledon undulata*. The synonym *Cotyledon orbiculata var. oblonga* is also frequently used. It is known in German as “Silberne Raffungen” (Silver Ruffles).

The succulent belongs to the plant genus Cotyledon, which is classified in the family Crassulaceae. This succulent is native to Capensis.
Cotyledon undulata is green, silver, and white with a compact, branched growth form. The flower is orange-red to yellow, bell-shaped, and covered with a silvery bloom. It develops during the flowering period from April to July. You will receive a plant in an 8.5cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of approximately 20cm. The achievable growth height is 15cm to 25cm.
Caring for Cotyledon undulata is relatively easy. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Cotyledon undulata does not tolerate waterlogging, so you should ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates less water rather than too much. Fertilizing is possible once a month, or every four weeks.
This succulent’s light requirement is met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20C and 30C. Cotyledon undulata can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sun. In winter, the temperature should be around 15C. Furthermore, fertilization is stopped and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
This succulent can be propagated by seeds, but also by leaf and stem cuttings. Cotyledon undulata is generally non-toxic, but we cannot guarantee its compatibility with animals.

Please note: Sizes and shapes may vary for plants, as each item is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The color also varies depending on the season.
