Light: This plant loves plenty of bright, indirect light and can tolerate some direct sun, which helps keep its colors vibrant and its growth compact. A south- or west-facing window is perfect. In lower light it may stretch and lose its variegation.
Water: Like most succulents, it prefers to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to become bone dry before watering again. In winter, it needs very little water sometimes only once a month. Overwatering will quickly lead to root rot.
