Often refered to as Dogwood this plant is at its best during the winter months when its bright red stems are shown off.Fresh green foliage during the summer months.Best grown in sun or partial shade in a moist soil.Should be trimmed in spring to encourage fresh stem growth.
As a guide this plant can grow to 200cm x 250cm
Here at Polhill we recommend that you use a good quality compost mixed with your garden soil when planting in the ground. If going into containers then a good multipurpose compost or John Innes compost is recommended
