This stunning Colocasia Waikiki originates from plant hybridizer, Dr. John Cho, retired Emeritus Plant Pathologist from the University of Hawaii. Waikiki is part of the Royal Hawaiian series. The leaves emerge green and develop a wide white central vein with a purple dot in the center. As the leaves mature, the purple expands into the veins and creates a sensational foliage display in the garden. Waikiki is an attractive container plant that reaches 36-42 tall with deep purple stems and showy leaves. Grow in full to partial sun and moist soil. Waikiki was chosen as the first Colocasia winner in the All-America Selections for 2023.
