Five- to eight-inch deep purple velvet flowers bloom on vines six to eight feet. It wants to dry out between waterings, but not for too long.

Group 3 Flowers only on new wood. Can be cut to the ground in fall or spring. Cut stems 12-18 inches above a growth node or new shoot.
