Introducing Choisya Aztec Pearl, a unique and hardy variety of Mexican Orange with finely cut leaves. This plant has been tried and tested over many years and is a proven garden favorite. With a height and spread of 2.5m, this shrub is easily maintained and adds a bright pop of color to any garden.
Originally from Mexico and the southwest USA, Choisya is a small genus of evergreen plants with just seven species. The most famous of these is ternata, commonly known as Mexican Orange Blossom for its sweetly scented flowers. However, the most interesting varieties have come from cultivation, such as Choisya Aztec Pearl, which was first raised in 1982 by Peter Moore. Other notable introductions include White Dazzler, Goldfingers, and Apple Blossom, which boasts stunning pink flowers.
Another popular variety in this genus is Choisya ternata Sundance, known for its bright golden yellow leaves. All of these Choisya plants thrive in semi-shade and are evergreen, making them a reliable addition to any garden. Whether you have moist, well-drained soil or sandy, loam, chalk, or clay, Choisya Aztec Pearl will flourish. Choose from a 9cm pot or 2 Litre pot when ordering.
