Garlic chives is a hardy perennial plant with aromatic strap – shaped grey-green colour leaves with triangular bases widely used in a variety of dishes and cuisines. It grows up to 60cm in height and thrives best in full sun or partial shade areas in almost all soils with well-rotted compost or organic material. Garlic chives is a late summer – to autumn blooming plant which emerges many white flowers in a round cluster and is also bee friendly.

When grown in containers we recommend a good quality multipurpose compost is used. Plants should be fed during the growing season with a liquid feed as per the manufacturers instructions.
