Blue Sapphire’ is an arching, evergreen shrub with glossy, very dark green foliage with bronze tints. Tight clusters of small, rich blue flowers are produced in mid- to late spring. Best grown in a sheltered sunny position in a moist yet well drained soil.

• When planting this shrub in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If suitable for containers then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
