Carex ‘Everest’ has narrow, deep blue-green arching leaves with striking silver-white frosting along the edges. Carex ‘Everest’ is a Japanese Sedge (C. oshimensis) that like the others forms neat mounds of vigorous grassy foliage.

Carex ‘Everest’ prefers partial to light shade and moist, well-drained soil, but tolerates poor soil and drought, once established. Great for containers, Carex ‘Everest’ also makes a very nice, evergreen, perennial ground cover for shady areas. An award winner.
