Blooming in late winter to early spring, April Kiss is the earliest bloomer of the April varieties. The formal double flowers are deep rose pink and about 3 wide. Its cold hardy to zone 6b with a compact and upright habit. This prolific bloomer can also be grown inside as a container plant for gardeners in colder zones and it can easily be maintained at a shorter height by pruning.
