Buddleja (Buddleia) davidii Florence

A strong form with bold white variegated foliage and scented lilac flowers with orange eyes in Summer, Buddleja davidii `Florence` (also known as Butterfly Bush) is a unique and eye-catching addition to any garden. However, it may suffer from a few problems, which can be easily remedied through proper pruning. It is important to avoid pruning too hard or too early, as this can lead to new shoots growing through the winter months and being easily frosted. The best time to prune is in October/November to loosely shape the shrub, and then again in late March/April for a more thorough pruning.
