Calm and Social

Black Phantom Tetras are peaceful fish that like to swim in the middle of the tank. They do best in groups of eight or more and get along well with other peaceful fish. In the wild, they swim in huge schools, sometimes thousands at a time. Just dont keep them with slow-moving fish, because they might eat more than their share at feeding time.

Great for Beginners

These tetras are hardy and grow up to 2 inches long. Theyre a good choice if youre just starting out. While they can handle a lot, they dont like big changes in water conditions. Males sometimes pretend to fight to show whos in charge, but they never hurt each other.
