If you didn’t before, now you know there is such a thing as a dwarf bog birch. It has nearly round, toothed small leaves on fine branches, and its cute catkins are profuse and short. Everything about this birch is diminutive. Leaves in fall are light yellow and peach and it will becomedeciduous with less water in the summertime, but dormant for only a while. Under 6′ tall and wide; native of Eastern Canada.
