We grew Encanto Red, a boliviensis hybrid, in a moss-hanging basket and put it on a northern exposure porch where it grew happily all season. The flowers are an intense red and drape majestically over the pots edge. Its a continual bloomer with no deadheading required. When the plants reach full size, their beauty and flower power is unrivaled. Feed regularly with a balanced fertilizer and let the soil dry to the touch between waterings.
