SilverLady Fern Athyriaceae

A true classic. A cross between Athyrium niponicum (Painted Fern) and Athyrium filix-femina (Female Fern) with spreading silvery foliage. The foliage becomes more grey-green over the summer. Easier to position than A. niponicum, it is resistant to drought.

More spreading in habit than A. ‘Ghost’ but equally drought tolerant. Shady position.
