Armeria maritima ‘Rubrifolia’ has luscious little hot pink, pom-pom blooms on 10″ stems over burgundy to smoky-green, shiny grass-like foliage. The foliage of Armeria ‘Rubrifolia’ becomes more green in summer and returns to burgundy in cooler weather. This perennial is great for rock gardens, containers, and the front of the border.

Commonly referred to as Sea Thrift, Armeria maritima ‘Rubrifolia’ prefers full sun and very well-drained soil. It is tolerant of coastal conditions and drought once established. It will tolerate light foot traffic. Space on 6″ centers.

Dense rounded tufts of deep-green grass-like foliage sport round lollipop flowers of rose-pink atop a slender stem. Foliage turns bronze in fall. Thrives in poor soil with excellent drainage in full sun.
