Anthurium pinkleyi is a rare and visually striking epiphytic plant, native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. It grows to around 0.5 metres tall and is admired for its glossy, large leaves and vibrant inflorescences, typically featuring a white spathe and yellow spadix.

Native to: This plant thrives in tropical and subtropical regions, particularly in moist lowland and montane forests across Central and South America, including areas in the Caribbean.

Water: Like many Anthuriums, A. pinkleyi prefers consistently moist but well-draining soil. Its important to let the top few centimetres dry out between waterings to avoid waterlogging, which can lead to root rot.

Light: The plant does best in bright, indirect light. While it can tolerate lower light conditions, avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Humidity: As a tropical species, Anthurium pinkleyi prefers high humidity levels of around 60-80%. It benefits from regular misting or placement near a humidifier, making it an excellent choice for humid environments or terrariums.

Temperature: The ideal temperature range for this plant is between 18C and 25C, and it should be protected from cold drafts or temperatures below 15C.
