Anthuriums and Orchids have big, chunky roots that need loads of air, as they’re usually found rooted into trees in the wild. This mix is made mostly of bark, which creates large gaps for roots to breathe, grow, and attach like they would in the wild. Theres only a small amount of soil-like ingredients to keep the mix light, even if it gets slightly overwatered now and then. While this blend is perfect for epiphytic Anthuriums and orchids, its also great for Bromeliads, some Hoyas, Jungle Cacti and other plants that like their roots up in the air, not buried in dense soil.
