Water:
The soil should be kept moist but not waterlogged. Let the top few centimetres of the potting mix start to dry between waterings. Overly soggy roots lead to root rot.
Light:
Bright, filtered or diffused light is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight, especially harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch velvety leaves. Some morning light or dappled light through a curtain or shade could be okay.If light is too weak, growth will slow, leaves may be smaller and colour (venation contrast, etc.) may be less pronounced.
Humidity:
This hybrid will want relatively high humidity, ideally around 7080% to mimic its rainforest origins. If it becomes large, terrariums might not be feasible but for younger plants, growing under a humidity dome, in a greenhouse cabinet, or using humidifiers/trays can help.Good air circulation is important to prevent fungal issues if humidity is high.
Temperature:
Comfortable indoor tropical conditions: between 1828C. Avoid temperatures below about 1516C, which can stress the plant. Also avoid cold drafts, heaters blowing directly, windows with cold surface in winter.
