Water: Allow the top 3 cm of the substrate to dry out before watering. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure the potting mix is well-draining. During cooler months, reduce watering frequency to match the plant’s slower growth rate.
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to dappled shade. Direct sunlight may cause leaf scorching, while too little light can slow growth. Positioning the plant near an east or north-facing window is ideal.
Humidity: Thrives in higher-than-ambient humidity levels. Regular misting, using a humidifier, or placing the plant on a pebble tray with water can help maintain the desired humidity.
Temperature: Favors warm indoor temperatures, ideally between 18C and 26C. Protect the plant from drafts and sudden temperature changes, as it is sensitive to cold. Ensure indoor temperatures do not drop below 15C to maintain healthy growth.
