Angelica is an impressive hardy herbaceous perennial plant with its sweetly scented edible stems and roots. During its first year it grows only leaves, but during its second year, its fluted stem can reach a height of 2.5 meters. It requires fertile, humus rich and moist soil, sun or partial shade areas. It flowers in July with small and numerous yellowish or greenish flowers with an easy ability to self-seed and its bee and pollinator friendly.

When grown in containers we recommend a good quality multipurpose compost is used. Plants should be fed during the growing season with a liquid feed as per the manufacturers instructions.
