Anchusa azurea Feltham Pride Strain (Bugloss) is a unique sun-loving perennial that thrives in warm, dry spots. It is a fantastic addition to any border, with its intensely blue flowers that are long-lasting and held on tall stems. What sets Feltham Pride apart from other varieties of Anchusa is its darker, slightly more purple flowers. This plant is easily maintained at a height of 50cm, with a spread of the same size. Its foliage is a dark green with rough hairs, while its flowers are a strong blue with white centers and pink buds.

Native to Europe, North Africa, and Asia, Anchusa Feltham Pride Strain is a hardy, semi-evergreen perennial that is fully hardy once established in a sheltered spot. It can withstand temperatures down to -10 degrees Celsius (H5). This plant is supplied in either a 9cm pot or 2 Litre pot, and it is recommended to select the appropriate size from the drop-down menu when ordering. It is a very useful plant for most areas and will flower more in a sunny spot.

Flowering from May to July, Anchusa Feltham Pride Strain has upright stems that can reach over a meter in height. It is a plant that prefers a deep root run and needs some space to bulk up. Anchusa is closely related to Brunnera, and some similarities can be seen between the two plants.
