Whether you have a Manzanita fetish or are just Manza-curious, you might want to take note. Sean Hogan, owner of Cistus Nursery and Arctostaphylos whisperer, has agreed to make the trek to Dancing Oaks Nursery in October and lead attendees on an exploration of Manzanitas on Saturday, October 18. The focus will be on the care and nurturing of this sometimes fickle genus, along with learn some of the distinguishing characteristics of the Oregon and Northern Californian species.

The class will start at10 AM and wrap up by noon. Participants are welcome to bring lunch. Dancing Oaks will provide finger desserts and refreshments.

The registration fee is $25 per person, and the deadline to register is Sunday, October 12. The space is limited to 25 participants, so dont wait!
