A matt forming low growing perennial that is fantastic for ground cover. The deep purple leaves give you colour all year round and through spring and early summer the plant is covered in metallic blue flowers.

This Ajuga is happy in partial shade or full sun making it ideal for growing under a tree. It also grows well in a pot and is often used in autumn planting schemes to add foliage contrast.
