Air plants do best with at least a few hours of bright, indirect sun daily. Placementwithin 1 to 3 feet of an east- or west-facing window, or within a foot or two of an artificial light sourceis ideal.

The Ionantha varieties love sunlight, so they should also be kept in an area that gets adequate light throughout the day(east/west facing windows are best). We recommend soaking the plant once or twice a week depending on the Environment.
