This is a highly popular, low-maintenance houseplant, commonly called Chinese Evergreen. Its name means “Blushing Beauty” due to its lush, glossy leaves. The dark green foliage is dramatically streaked with vibrant red-pink or crimson color.

• Light: Prefers medium to bright, indirect light. Brighter light increases the red color intensity. While it tolerates low light, the colors may fade. Avoid direct sun to prevent leaf burn.
• Temperature: Needs warm temperatures, ideally 65-80F (18-27C). It’s very cold-sensitive; never let temperatures drop below 60F (15C).
• Humidity: Tolerates average household humidity but does best with higher levels (40-60%). Use a humidifier or mist occasionally for optimal foliage health.
• Watering: Water only when the top half of the soil is dry. It hates soggy roots, so avoid overwatering to prevent root rot. Use a rich, well-draining soil mix.
