A clone from the islands that tends to be a bit more upright, with a strongly bulbous base, light green with a gray scurf and covered with small dark speckles overall in strong light. The inflorescence is very erect and tall, to nearly 6 feet, with two or three branches near the base.
An attractive and rare form. We originally got this plant from the late Carol Johnson who was famous for obtaining rare and unusual bromeliads.
