Our coarse activated carbon in food grade quality is a

The coal particles loosen heavy soils and improve the oxygen supply in the root zone.
Ideal for demanding plants such as succulents, tillandsias, orchids, bonsai
or in hydroponics. Also in terrariums or indoor gardening.

Application recommendation

• Substrate mixture: Use 515% activated carbon as an additive.

• Drainage layer: 12 cm of activated charcoal at the bottom of the pot can be combined with lava if desired.

• Hydroculture: Sprinkle between the water reservoir and the plant to create a clean environment.

• Terrariums: Incorporate as a base under moss or soil.

Pro tip : Especially recommended for sensitive plants or in combination with mineral substrates.
