oshiki kotohime’ is a bonsai enthusiast’s dream! Very slow growing with a narrow, upright habit, it will reach 5 to 6 ft in 15 years (slower in a pot). This dwarf maple starts this spring off with new foliage of glowing orange developing into an impressionist painting of green with pink and white highlights, finally transitioning into orange-red hues in the fall. The leaves grow tightly against the branches giving it a bottlebrush appearance that is quite pleasing.
