Anthurium verapazense is a rarely offered tropical plant that thrives exceptionally well as a houseplant. This species originates in parts of Central America in countries like Belize, Honduras and Guatemala.

The foliage is very unique, growing long and narrow with a texture that is thick and similar to cardboard.

This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow your plant to dry out about half way before watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your new Anthurium with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth.
