Rhaphidophora pertusa is an uncommon indoor climbing plant that is occasionally confused with Rhaphidophora tetrasperma. The difference between pertusa and tetrasperma is that pertusa leaves get much larger and fenestrate earlier than tetrasperma.

We highly recommend a coco pole or other form of support for your Rhaphidophora to climb. As it climbs higher, the leaves will gradually become larger.

This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely before watering, taking care to not allow your Rhaphidophora pertusa plant to sit in excess water for an extended period of time. Provide your new indoor plant with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth.
