Calathea Gecko is a member of the Marantaceae family, which consists of a large variety of plants that typically have very colorful foliage and posses the ability to bend, or fold, their leaves in the evening. Commonly called a “Prayer Plant” these tropical plants make good indoor statement pieces.

Calathea Gecko care:

This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter, but will retain a little bit of moisture. Water your plant when the soil is about halfway dry, taking care to not let it sit in excess water or remain dry for long periods. Provide your new Calathea Gecko with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth.
