Philodendron Joepii is afairly uncommon tropical plant of unknown parentage. This species is believed to be a natural hybrid in the pedatum complex but it’s true origin isn’t known. This plant was discoveredin eastern French Guiana by Joep Moonen.
Philodendron Joepii is prized for its uniquely shaped foliage. As this plant matures, the middle of the leaf becomes extremely narrow and the tip and lobes become extremely defined.
This species loves to climb so make sure you provide it with a coco pole or other support structure.
Caring for your Philodendron Joepii is really easy. Make sure your plant is in a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow your plant to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide it with plenty of bright indirect light.
