Alocasia Metalhead is a hybrid cross between Alocasia Plumbea and Alocasia Lauterbachiana. The new leaves start off a deep dark purple-black and eventually turn greener once they mature

Growth pattern: Tuberous & bushes outwards

Water: Little and often. Keep moist but not waterlogged.

Ideal Position: East facing

Light: Bright, indirect or filtered light.

Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use.

How to care for your Alocasia –

Water:Alocasia need their soil to be lightly moist at all times, do not allow to dry out.

Light:They enjoy bright but indirect sunlight, direct sun can scorch the leaves.

Humidity:They love warmth and humidity, a bathroom or kitchen would be a perfect spot.

Temperature:They prefer warm temperatures about 20 degrees C.
