Popular as a houseplant. Produces soft, ‘needle-like’ leaves that are actually modified stems. Prefers part sun or filtered light. Great in containers. Grows from a vigorous tuberous root stock and will eventually fill a large pot. Cut stems are often used in floral arrangements. Protect from frost.
