This unique perennial, also known as French Meadow Rue, is a must-have for any garden. With its large and robust foliage, it stands out among other Thalictrum varieties. Its foliage is similar to that of Aquilega, giving it its species name. But the real showstopper is its impressive display of light purple flowers in early summer.

Standing at a height of 1m and with a spread of 50cm, this plant is easily maintained. Its pale green foliage is attractive when young, and its pink purple flowers add a pop of color to any garden. It thrives in moist, well-drained soil and prefers a partially shaded position.
