A fantastic ground cover plant that grows well in shade, Vinca minor Gertrude Jekyll is a unique variety with smaller light green leaves and delicate white flowers in early Spring. Unlike other V.minor varieties, it is less vigorous and can easily be maintained at a height of 10cm and a spread of 1m. Its dark green foliage and white flowers make it a beautiful addition to any garden. This shrub is fully hardy once established and can thrive in a variety of soil types and positions, from full sun to full shade.
Supplied in either a 9cm pot or 2 Litre pot, Vinca minor Gertrude Jekyll is a versatile plant that can be used all over the garden. It is perfect for full shade, woodland areas, the front of borders, or even on exposed banks. Its flowers bloom from November to April, adding a splash of color to your garden during the colder months. This evergreen plant has a creeping habit, making it ideal for ground cover. While some varieties of Vinca can be invasive, Vinca minor can easily be cut back to keep it under control. It is a great choice for those looking for a balance between V.major and V.minor varieties.
