About

Watermelon Peperomia gets its name from the funky patterns on its leaves, just like the skin on a watermelon. Peperomia as a genus comes from South American and has crisp, fleshy foliage that thrives in warm spaces. Though some members of the family are grown as garden plants, the minature Watermelon Peperomia works best inside.

Plant Care

• Water: Let the soil go dry to the touch, and then give it a drink and let it drain.
• Light: A shaded spot in a bright room is best, out of direct sunlight. Just back from an east or west facing window is ideal.

These are delicate plants and would be best collected from our Streatham store – though we can put them on a cargo bike if you are happy to take the risk.
